The Fiddle House

Our big test with the design, development, and launch of The Fiddle House was the need to get the entire project completed in three weeks. The shop was a new business in East Nashville and had a set grand opening deadline for which they needed a new website. They had a logo already so we started by building a design around it, using the colors that the shop owners had in mind.

Once the design was in place the development of the site progressed rather quickly. We added the Drupal GMap module to place an interactive Google map in several spots on the site and built a few content types for display of news, events, concerts, and instruments for sale. As the site is effectively a means to get people into the retail shop and alert them to upcoming events, the launch was smooth enough and everything was up and running in time for the grand opening.

Instrument Gallery

Instrument Gallery
The shop features an extensive collection of instruments for sale so we created an image gallery to display photos, prices, and descriptions for each instrument.

Google Map
We integrated the Google Maps API into the site to give customers an easy way to get directions to the shop.

Project Overview

The Fiddle House was a new business -- an acoustic string shop in Nashville, Tennessee -- in need of their first web presence. Using the logo that they already had we built a design and developed the site into the Drupal CMS backend for easy administration. Features include an interactive Google map, calendar of events, and an instrument showcase.
